About a year ago I was in a way different head space. I was confused, unmotivated and lazy. However, in a year I have progressed drastically! I want you all to see this timeline and I hope it motivates you to press towards the mark. No matter where you are right now, things can change on an instant based on your effort.

2016

JANUARY 

I had just graduated from San Jose State University and moved back home with my parents. I was working at KLOK Desi 1170 AM Radio Station.

FEBRUARY

I quit the radio station, and started working a full time job as an administrative assistant to build my funds.

Decided I wanted to start babysitting on the side in order to make ends meet, so I went on CARE.com.

MARCH

Decided to start a blog titled “Reckless Behavior” in order to motivate and inspire young people who had just graduated from college and felt lost like me.

APRIL

Met Imani Baylor who has been an influential and extremely motivating person in my life.

MAY

Received a $3 raise at my full time job after only working there for 3 months.

Got hired to work in promotions at 99.7 NOW KMVQ.

JUNE

JULY

Got out of a year long unhealthy relationship.

AUGUST

Became Lifestyle Editor of the website CSUITEMUSIC.com

SEPTEMBER

OCTOBER

Realized I want to delve into event planning and started interning for Welsh Public Relations Group.

NOVEMBER

DECEMBER

Celebrated my 24th Birthday.

2017

JANUARY

Got into a car accident. My car was totaled, but I walked away with no scratches.

FEBRUARY

Got out of an unhealthy situationship and decided it was grind time.

MARCH

Went through a stage of depression, but quickly bounced back.

APRIL

MAY

Quit my full time job to focus more on my passions: radio and writing.

JUNE

JULY

Started interning for Armand Carr host of the Quiet Storm at 102.9 KBLX.

Was promoted to Managing Editor of the website CSUITEMUSIC.com.

Co Produced a showcase for the Non Profit Organization The Oakland Teen Empowerment Scholarship Program.

My Blog “Reckless Behavior” has been viewed over 17,000 times. Friends and strangers message me telling me that my blog has helped inspire them in some way or another. That is all I ever wanted 🙂

I know that I still have a long way to go, but I still want to give glory to God. Without him, none of this would of happened. I will never forget to praise him in advance! I will continue to update you all on what’s going on with me. Not because I think my life is interesting, but because I want to make it clear that life is what YOU make it.
