The East Oakland Collective (EOC) is a member-based community organizing group invested in serving the communities of deep East Oakland by working towards racial and economic equity. With programming in economic development, civic engagement and leadership, and homeless services and solutions, they help amplify underserved communities from the ground up. They are committed to driving impact in the landscape, politics and economic climate of deep East Oakland.
Their next big event is the Feed the Hood 8: Holidays for Our Unhoused which will be held on December 9th, 2018. Their goal is to not only provide 3,000 lunches and hygiene kits to our unhoused brothers and sisters across Oakland, but to also help prepare them for winter and cold/wet weather with a special winter item drive.
