“Billy isn’t going to win this one,” Lacey muttered on her way to Billy and Charlotte’s house.

Ever since Lacey met Billy, nothing but trouble ensued. She slept with Billy while not exactly knowing what happened, then had her life controlled by the secret and Billy only to find out that Charlotte was his partner in this entire scenario. And to top it all off, she lost Brian because of this foolishness. Billy needed to pay and he needed to pay right now. Lacey was flooring it to the house, but then she thought about something.

“I need to get some type of weapon to take on Billy.”

Charlotte stopped by her house and grabbed an old shovel Brian had around their place and loaded it in the car. She was ready to finally end this and hopefully get some sense of normalcy in her life by getting Brian back into it.

“Payback is going to be sweet, Billy.”

Lacey peeled off towards the mess that awaited her with a look of anger in her eyes.

Back at Billy and Charlotte’s house, Billy was there with Brian all tied up and his wife sitting in the same room bound and gagged.

“So, you willing to die for her Brian? You sure you want to do that?”

“Yes.”

“You’re a bigger fool that I thought. You want to know something?”

“If you’re going to tell me you’re going to kill me, I kind of expected that.”

“What if I told you that Charlotte wasn’t exactly the sweet Charlotte you slept with in our home? Oh, by the way, I knew you were here in the bedroom Brian. Charlotte never has the sheets messy. That was a dead giveaway.”

“What could you possibly have to tell me now, Billy?”

“Charlotte orchestrated this entire thing. From you losing your job, lawn service and everything.”

“That’s funny,” said Brian.

“It isn’t funny when it’s the truth.”

Brian heard what Billy told him, but he was too far gone. He was in love with Charlotte again and saw this as his second opportunity with her.

“You’re an interesting character, Billy.”

“As interesting as they come, Brian. I guess you don’t want to accept what I just told you. Maybe she will tell you on your deathbed.”

Billy had his gun ready. He was tired of the foolishness from Brian. He was tired of waiting on Lacey to get there. He wanted to end this and he wanted to end this now. He put the cold steel right next to Brian’s head.

“Have fun in the afterlife Brian, wherever that may be.”

As soon as he was about to pull the trigger, the doorbell rang.

“Lacey saved you Brian. You’re one lucky man.”

Billy put the blindfold and gag back on Brian’s eyes and mouth and turned off the lights. Lacey did not know it, but the door was already open, waiting for her to come in. She rang the doorbell a couple more times and then tried to turn the doorknob, which opened to a dark house.

“Billy! Where are you?!”

“Follow the sound of my voice.”

Lacey moved into the house, shovel in hand, following Billy’s voice and then she heard a muffled voice from someone that sounded like they were gagged.

“Brian, is that you?”

Lacey cocked back her shovel and just as soon as she did, she felt the power of a gun hit her right in the back of her head, knocking her out cold. As Lacey was knocked out, she had visions of everything running through her head. The look Brian gave her when he left, the look of Billy and Charlotte when they told her that she had been played and the look of Charlotte when she was coming towards her with a shovel were all playing in her mind.

As she lay lifeless in the floor, Billy looked over her body. And of course, his mind started to think of the times he had with her. The original plan was for him to take her downstairs to witness the murder of Brian, but Billy wanted to sample Lacey one last time before putting her through some torture. He carried her to his and Charlotte’s bedroom and tied her arms to the post. He stripped her panties off and placed a gag in her mouth as he waited for her to wake up after the shot he gave her.

More than fifteen minutes went by and finally Lacey woke up. It took her a second, but she realized that her arms were tied and then she realized the worst of the predicament she was in: Billy was standing over her with a smile.

“You didn’t really think I was going to let you walk in and see me face to face did you?” he asked with a laugh.

Lacey was cussing through the gag she had on, but all Billy could hear was mumbles as he laughed.

“Time to get it in one last time with you Lacey. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.”

Downstairs in the cellar, There was nothing but silence now. Brian didn’t know what was going on or what was happening. Charlotte was quiet too. She was also blindfolded and gagged. Neither of them knew what was happening or who was there. Was Billy getting ready to take them all out? Had he taken out Lacey already? Those questions were going through the mind of Brian as he was sitting there in the dark with nothing but silence and darkness surrounding him.

Then, the lights flickered on. Brian was getting nervous and anxious because he didn’t know what was going on. Whoever was moving towards him was breathing heavy and was walking slowly towards him and he wasn’t sure how to react. He took a deep breath as the breaths got closer and closer and closer. Then, whoever was moving close to him stopped moving. Brian could tell because the breathing stopped sounding like it was getting closer. All Brian could do was take a gulp and hope for the best outome. And then his blindfold was removed.

“Hey baby. I love you. Please let me explain to you again.”

There stood Lacey in front of him, with her clothes halfway on and blood splattered on her clothing. She then pulled down Brian’s gag, awaiting his reponse.

“What happened to you?”

“Billy happened, but that is over now. That bastard tried to rape me when he knocked me out upstairs. Good thing he didn’t know how to tie a rope good. I grabbed the phone next to the bed and hit him in the head with it, got my shovel and showed him who was boss.”

Brian looked mortified that Lacey had done that, but he was thrilled that she had saved his life.

“Brian, I have so much to tell you. Please listen to me this time. Charlotte set all this up.”

“Why do you continue to say all that Lacey? Charlotte wouldn’t hurt anyone. If anything, she was the victim of Billy’s craziness.”

“Well, Brian, there is only one way to solve all this. ”

Lacey put the gag back in Brian’s mouth and turned his chair around to face Charlotte.  And as soon as she got Brian’s chair turned around, she moved towards Charlotte with a sick smile on her face.
